Bio:

Jared James is beginning his 11th year working in education. He currently serves as the head softball coach and assistant cross country coach at Greenland High School. He served as a head coach in girls track and baseball before finding his way to softball. He has been a softball head coach for 7 years and an assistant coach for 1 year. Jared serves as the Northwest Regional Representative for the AHSFCA.

He has made coaching stops in his career at Dardanelle, Strong-Huttig, Clarendon, and Greenland. His coaching background includes football, basketball, baseball, track and field, softball, and cross country. 

Jared is a graduate of White Hall High School, and received his BS in education at Arkansas Tech University as well as an AS in criminal justice. Later he earned his MS in educational leadership from Arkansas State University. He enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
